Created For Such A Time As This: Lessons From The Esther Anointing

If you are following me on social media then you must know that I recently purchased a collection of life-changing books: The Esther Anointing, The Deborah Anointing and the Hannah Anointing. I’ve known about these books for over a year now but there was this urgency in my spirit to purchase the books when I did in April and I am glad purchased them.

Have you ever read a book that left you in awe and you found yourself asking many questions because your mind has been opened in a new dimension? That’s exactly how I felt as I read The Esther Anointing. It was refreshing, insightful and it brought the much needed clarity that I have been seeking.

I’ll share a few lessons here which I pray will be a blessing to you. I have also done a video which is now on YouTube (after days of struggling to upload…the devil is a liar really!). In the video, I did an in-depth review and there’s a special announcement there as well.

So let’s get right into the lessons.

Want God to use you for great things? You must think beyond yourself.

I think one of the most liberating truths that a Christian can grasp is the fact that you are not in this world for yourself. You were created by God to live for His purpose. So, everything about your life, starting from how and when you were born, your upbringing, life choices etc. must align with the purpose that God has for your life. God had a great purpose for Esther even though she had a childhood that was not the best. Despite her fears and reservations, when she was able to grasp the reality of her higher calling, she made the bold statement we all love to recite, “If I perish, I perish.”

Have you completely surrendered your life to God? Are you letting Him have His way and allowing Him to guide your choices, knowing that you are not just here in the world to occupy space? You will enjoy the fullness of your relationship with God when you completely surrender to His will and plan.

Don’t despise your past.

I don’t know about you but I wish certain things in my past never happened. I wish my parents didn’t split up, I will I didn’t start dating at 13, I wish I didn’t go down that path of fornication…I wish, I wish, I wish. In as much as we regret the past, we must understand that there is nothing we can do about it. After all, the past is gone. If, however, we open up to God and drop that baggage of our past at His feet, He will take it, mould it and use it for His glory. Didn’t He say in His word that all things work together for our good? That means the good, the bad and the downright ugly.

So, stop pitying yourself. Stop being a victim of the past. Stop looking back and wishing things could have been different. I cannot tell you how many times I did this. It will get you nowhere. Look forward instead, just like Esther who chose to give up her security for the sake of the deliverance of her people. Her past wasn’t great but she saw a brighter future ahead. You can too.

God is set to use women in new dimensions!

If you are sensitive to the things of the Spirit, you will have picked up on the fact that there’s a move of God and women are at the forefront of this move. God is raising His women to be at the forefront of this revival. He, however, needs us to co-operate with Him. He needs us to take our rightful place, leaving behind the painful past, the fearful words, the stinging opinion of society which serve to limit us. He wants to pour out a fresh anointing upon women and He has specially equipped us for such a time as it this! Indeed, this is such a great time to be a woman. I don’t know about you but I think it is such a privilege to be used by God to influence the world for the Kingdom. How awesome is that?

In other news!

Over the last few months, I have had many, many conversations with women who sense a call of God upon their lives but they are not sure what to do about it, or even what that call is! I can so relate; I have struggled so much with this issue of finding your calling but I have learnt to lean on the Holy Spirit to let me know the assignment He has for me in each season. By walking in obedience, saying yes to one assignment after the next, the fullness of my calling has become clearer.

I sense in my spirit that there are a lot more women in this boat and I want to bring as many of these women as possible together for a session of prayer, worship and conversations that will bring clarity to the call of God upon their lives. I am hosting a meeting (don’t have a name for it yet) on Wednesday 5th June in Lekki and it is essentially for women who are yearning to do more for God or want God to use them in mighty ways. We’re going to worship, praise, pray, be totally consumed by the Holy Spirit, talk about our fears, our walk with God and we are going to gain clarity for the future.

If you will like to join us, please send a mail to adedoyin.jaiyesimi@gmail.com. Because its meant to be an intimate session, we have room for about 10 women which means once we have that number, I won’t be able to take any more requests! I hope you join us and most importantly, I hope your heart will be set on fire to do great things for God during this meeting.
